She's the lead formulator at ABD Naturals, developing products from concept to shelf, including an NPN-approved Eczema Relief Cream, the Bota-Shield Refreshing Body Mist, deodorant balms, jelly soaps, and seasonal shower steamers. She also oversees regulatory compliance, navigating Health Canada's NPN and cosmetic frameworks, INCI labeling, and GMP standards to ensure every product meets safety and legal requirements. Beyond formulations, Sawsen leads the hands-on experiential classes — soap-making and bath bomb workshops — that have become one of the brand's most popular offerings.

After moving to Canada to build a life with her family, she pursued her massage therapy career further, studying at Makami College and graduating in 2024 with Distinction and Top Marks in her class. She now brings 2 years of hands-on experience practicing in Canada.

Her educational journey began with a Bachelor’s
degree in Physical Therapy from Ahfad University for Women in Khartoum, Sudan.
Lemlem is in good standing with the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists
Association (CMMOTA), reflecting her commitment to professionalism and ongoing education
within her field. With a diverse background, Lemlem has gained valuable experience as a
Physical Therapist in both Egypt and Sudan from 2013 to 2019, before transitioning to focus
specifically on manual osteopathy in Sudan between 2019 and 2022. Her dedication to helping
others led her to further her career as an Assistant Physiotherapist in Edmonton.
In her practice, Lemlem utilizes a variety of modalities to address the unique needs of each
individual she treats. Her expertise includes manual therapy, muscle testing, exercise therapy,
myofascial remodeling, visceral manipulation, involuntary mechanism, and osteoarticulation. By
combining these techniques, Lemlem strives to optimize her clients’ physical health, alleviate
pain, and improve overall well-being. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to continuous learning, Lemlem Mebrahtu is

Dr. Ali helps clients address deeper patterns behind emotional disconnection, overthinking, exhaustion, and self-sabotage, and automatic responses that persist despite conscious effort. She works beneath the conscious story, helping clients reconnect and restore vitality, live with greater freedom, and fulfilment.

She holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing and AI, has more than 25 years of experience in academia, research, and education, and brings over 10 years of advanced clinical experience and training to her therapeutic work. She combines emotional attunement with intellectual rigour for analytical clients who need the process and its rationale to make sense.
