Sculptural Tallow Soap

A sculptural, handmade soap made with beef tallow and shea butter, in two naturally coloured, essential oil scented versions.

Beef tallow is a traditional soapmaking fat that makes a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather. Shea butter adds softness, coconut oil brings big bubbles, and castor oil helps keep the lather rich and stable. Each piece is shaped by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

You receive one surprise piece or a set of small pieces. Designs and colours vary.

Every ABD Naturals product is formulated by our founder, a biologist and certified cosmetic formulator, and made by hand in our St. Albert studio.

Beef Tallow: A traditional soapmaking fat for a hard, long-lasting bar and creamy lather.

Coconut Oil: For big, cleansing bubbles.

Shea Butter: Adds creaminess and leaves skin feeling soft and conditioned.

Castor Oil: Helps create a rich, stable lather.

Dark version, Indigo & Activated Charcoal with Lemongrass & Eucalyptus: Natural colourants for deep blue and charcoal tones, with a fresh, zesty herbal scent.

Pink version, Pink Clay & Madder Root with Lavender & Cedarwood: Natural colourants for a soft pink shade, with a calming floral and woody scent.

How to Use

1. Wet the soap and your skin with warm water.
2. Work up a lather between your hands or on a washcloth.
3. Massage over skin, then rinse well.
4. Let the soap dry on a draining soap dish between uses so it lasts longer.

Caution
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if soap gets in your eyes, rinse well with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Patch test if you have sensitive skin. Contains animal-derived ingredients (beef tallow); not vegan. Not for consumption. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep the soap out of standing water between uses. Natural colourants may lightly tint washcloths.
